Do you want to feel

happier and healthier?

When we think of nature, we often envision the trees, plants, animals, perhaps the ocean. We reflect on the nature out there, but have you ever considered YOUR nature. You are probably wondering what I mean by ‘your nature’.

Then Lu Jong may be for you!

Am I referring to your personality, your appearance or perhaps where you come from and what you do? Who are you and what are you made up of? Is it this body, your emotions, your thoughts? And if you are, one or all of these things, then have you ever stopped to consider what it is that you are not? And why is this important?

What is Lu Jong?

Lu Jong is a moving meditation that combines movement, breathing and mindfulness.

It is an ancient solution for modern problems

The Lu Jong practice developed more than 8000 years ago in Tibet.

Tibetan Masters used Lu Jong to help keep their bodies healthy and their minds calm while meditating in remote caves.

Lu Jong comes from the Buddhist Tantrayana and Bön traditions

It is based on principles of Tibetan Medicine

With Lu Jong you can experience....

Increased disease resistance

Increased strength and flexibility of the body - it nurtures the spine and lubricates the joints

Calm and focused mind

Transformed negative emotions

Access into the silence and wisdom of the mind

Testimonials

“I have met many people who only start exercising in their 40's and 50's and then injure themselves from doing high intensity and complicated exercises. Exercising mindfully is important. On the other hand there are people who would love to exercise more, but they are just unable to due to time constraints with work and family responsibilities. This leaves them feeling stressed and unwell leaving them less able to do what they need to do and feeling more stressed through lack of performance in the workplace. It's a vicious circle. What I would like to emphasize is that even a small amount of time dedicated to moving the body and practicing breathing and mindfulness meditation can be extremely effective in helping one to feel better with more energy to make healthier lifestyle choices. I say Lu Jong is clever because it combines all three.” Anonymous
I know Deniah, Dr Pachai, since 2012. We first met at work, we are both General Practitioners and we developed a friendship. I have the pleasure to assist to her Lu Jong classes and workshops regularly. Deniah is an excellent teacher. She is a natural. She teaches with flow. She makes people feel comfortable and supports all levels of practice with the same kindness and compassion. She accompanies, supports and encourages people to do their best with gentleness. I appreciate her sharing her own experiences and struggles on the path. I strongly recommend to all kind of people and ages her teachings and the simplicity of the Tibetan yoga, Lu Jong, she teaches. Deniah has made a real difference. She introduced me to Lu Jong yoga which means I now have a gentle but effective routine that focuses on flexibility, mindfulness and well-being. It's so reassuring to know that she has trained as a doctor and that her recommendations are based on a deep understanding of how my body works, and her knowledge is complemented by her positive energy and caring approach. She has made me realise my health goals are achievable and that working towards them can be a pleasure. (Allyson)
"I started Lu Jong classes almost two years ago and have practised it on and off since then. My teacher, Deniah, has proved an excellent ambassador for this Tibetan healing yoga. Her knowledge of, and passion for, this practice are evident to all who attend her classes. And whilst there are different aspects of the practice, she has made it clear that the first one she introduced (the five elements movements) can be beneficial, and as they take only 10 minutes, they can be readily incorporated into one's daily life. Whilst I dip into other forms of yoga, I feel that this is one from which I will continue to most readily benefit both physically and mentally.

As a chiropractor, I spend a lot of time bent over patients. I’m in my mid-60s and have noticed recently that a full day in the clinic leaves me fatigued, with thoracic spine. I currently attend two Pilates classes and a Yoga class weekly and do Yoga most mornings. I’ve been doing the five elements yoga almost every day and have noticed a significant change in my body. Yesterday I had a very long day in the clinic and finished without fatigue and without an achy back. Brilliant! (Attended the College of Medicine Yoga Retreat on 20/01/2019)
